Creating Player Lists
Use Player Lists for creating invite-only play sessions, maintaining block lists, and starting group chats. This walkthrough shows how to create, populate, manage, share, and delete player lists.
Step 1: Open My Player Lists
From the main calendar page, click the My Player List button.

This opens a dialog box showing your previously saved lists, and a button to create a new list.

Step 2: Name the New Player List
Enter a clear, descriptive name for your Player List (for example, “Tuesday Night Doubles” or “Block List”).
Step 3: Choose Rating Options
Before searching for players, select the rating system and rating type you want to use.
Step 4: Search for Players
Use any of the available methods to find players to add:
- Search by name: Enter a first and/or last name to search for anyone within 100 miles matching that name.
- Search by email: Enter an email address to search the entire database.
- Append: Load one or more existing lists to quickly build from.
- Search by skill/gender: (Premium users only)
Select a minimum and maximum skill range, and/or gender to pull players within 100 miles that meet those criteria.

- Paste (Premium users only):
Paste a list of email addresses separated by commas to quickly add many players at once.

Step 5: Add Players to the List
As search results appear:
- Locate the player you want.
- Click on the player’s name to add them to your list; they will appear in the yellow box at the top.

If there are many results, page through the result set until you find the correct person.

Remove players by clicking the "X" next to their name.
When you have finished adding players, be sure to click Save Changes.

Step 6: Rename, Duplicate, and Share Player Lists
Once your list has at least one player, additional actions become available:
- Rename the list if you want to change its title.

- Duplicate the list to create a copy you can modify independently.
- Share the list (Power users only):
When you share with another user:
- Both you and the other user can access and edit the list.
- Each of you will see the other’s changes.
If you don't want your friend to be able to edit your master list, you can always duplicate your original list and share the copy.
Step 7: Delete and Manage Lists
If you no longer need a particular list, you can delete it using the Delete button.
As you create more lists, they will appear in the My Player List menu for easy access.

To remove several lists at once, use the Clean Lists button at the bottom of the window.

When you click Clean Lists, checkboxes will appear next to your lists.
Select the lists you want to remove, then click Delete Selected to permanently delete the checked lists.
