Friday Pickle "Fever" Paddle Review

⚠️ Warning: Friday Fever may cause sudden bursts of control, confidence, and contagious pickleball obsession.

I’ve been hitting the courts with Friday’s newest release — the Friday Fever — a Gen 3 paddle that’s bringing some serious energy (and fun color!) to the game. I know they've been working hard on getting this out, and let me tell you — it shows! This beauty definitely hits the sweet spot: excellent control, reliable pop, and a surprising amount of power in a balanced 16mm build. Great for intermediate players who want to grow their game without shelling out a ton of cash.

Let’s get real — I love a good value, and at $99, this paddle delivers big-time without the premium price tag. It’s got a flexible 3-layer carbon fiber surface, smart foam placement, and yes... there’s a little break-in period. But once it settles in, it feels good. Like, “wait... did I just actually hit that shot on purpose?” kind of good.

The grip? I love it. Ribbed and just cushioned enough to feel comfy during long play sessions, but still secure enough to really hold onto. Big points for control — I’ve been having fun working in some spin, both topspin and backspin, and this paddle’s been right there with me. If you’re like me and appreciate a paddle that plays hard but doesn’t beat you up in the process, you’ll like this one.

Style and substance? Don’t tempt me with a good time!

Let’s just say, Friday has the Fever — and the only cure is more pickleball.
