Frank Works Court Shoe – The One

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable The One by Frank Works is. From the moment you slip your foot in, you realize this isn’t your typical court shoe – it goes on like a sock, wrapping around your foot with a snug yet flexible fit. The black mesh upper extends to the ankle, providing just the right amount of support while allowing for natural movement.

Almost every time I’ve worn them, someone has asked about them – usually with a mix of curiosity and disbelief that these are actually court shoes. And honestly? I haven’t seen anything else quite like them either. I have to admit, I feel pretty cool when I put them on.

One of my favorite features? No laces! Instead, there’s a single Velcro tab that zig-zags across the top, allowing for an easy, even, and secure fit. Unlike traditional laces that can create pressure points and loosen unevenly over time, this design ensures consistent support without the hassle of retying mid-game. It’s a small but significant detail that adds to the overall comfort.

Aesthetically, The One nails it. The sleek all-black design pairs effortlessly with anything, while the pop of teal adds just the right amount of pizzazz. The name itself – The One – feels fitting because it delivers a standout combination of style and performance that makes me excited to lace up (or, in this case, strap in) for a game.

Performance-wise, it doesn’t disappoint. The cushioned sole provides excellent support, absorbing impact while keeping me stable during quick transitions. Whether I’m pivoting, lunging, or making those split-second moves on the court, I feel secure and in control.

All in all, The One is not just a great-looking shoe – it’s an excellent court shoe. Frank Works really worked it out with this one!
