PADDLE RACK SYSTEM:  We use only one rack (WINNERS RACK on left) when it's not crowded.  We play two on / two off where losers go off and winners stay and split; then the next two players come on.  If you win two games in a row AND and there are six paddles in the rack,  come off with the LOSERS, so three people can go on.  When ten or more paddles are in the rack, we need to switch to four on / four off.  The winners put their paddles next in line in winners rack, and the losers do the same in losers rack.  Be careful to put your paddle at the END of the line (FAR RIGHT) which is AWAY from the START.  START indicates the side for the next four players who are up.  ALWAYS flip the FLAG that shows which group is up next when your group of four goes out.  PLEASE TEACH THE SYSTEM TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND IT or UNFAIRLY ABUSE IT!

Using www.playtimescheduler.com is a nice way to get a group together to play pickleball who are on the same level.  This prevents beginners (under 3.0) from mixing in with intermediate/advanced players.  If more people used the site, we'd have more control on how crowded certain times are, and we'd be able to adjust.  (Spread the word about playtimescheduler, so we can reduce the crowds.   If you put the level of play for your meetup, you'll have better games (if people pay attention).  Please know that this does not reserve a court, so everyone needs to be courteous.  (NOTE:  Intermediate 3.0-4.0 players have been playing for five years every morning at 7:30 am.) 

We often find hats, glasses, jackets, etc., at the courts.  When we do they will be posted on our FaceBook page (Trotwood Pickleball Club).  If you've lost or found something at Trotwood, please post the item so it finds its home.
