Malvern Hills Pickleball Courts – Updated Hours

Please note that the Asheville Parks & Recreation Department has established new operating hours for the pickleball courts at Malvern Hills in response to concerns from neighboring residents.

Effective immediately:

? Courts open at 8:00 AM
? Courts close at 9:00 PM

All organized play, clinics and group activities should be scheduled no earlier than 8:00 AM and must conclude by 9:00 PM.

Your cooperation helps ensure we can continue to enjoy these wonderful courts for years to come.

Henderson County Parks and Recreation has both indoor (2) and outdoor (4) locations. All show HCPRD in their location name.

Patton Park is City of Hendersonville.

Bill Moore Community Park is Town of Fletcher.

Mills River Park is Town of Mills River.

Transylvania County Recreation has both indoor and outdoor courts at the Transylvania Activity Center located in Brevard.

Asheville pickleball community.

This is a friendly reminder regarding the time limit for group postings on Playtime Scheduler. The Asheville Park and Recreation Department has requested that all group sessions be capped at a maximum of two hours. We encourage you to review the rule signs posted at the park entrance for further information.

The Asheville Pickleball Association, in partnership with the Asheville Park and Recreation Department, is pleased to announce that players will no longer need to bring their own nets to play at Murphy Oakley Park, Weaver Park, and Malvern Hills Park. Special thanks to all our dedicated members and volunteers for their contributions.
