Since reopening in 2022, Smithfield Tennis and Pickleball Center has become a premier destination for racquet sports in Eastern Iowa. The facility features eight indoor pickleball courts, three indoor tennis courts, and six outdoor championship-level pickleball courts, allowing players to enjoy the game year-round.

Smithfield offers something for every player, including level-based open play, leagues, lessons, clinics, DUPR-verified sessions, and competitive events. Their welcoming environment makes it easy for both new and experienced players to improve their game and connect with the local pickleball community.

One of the ways Smithfield helps players get on the court is through PlayTime Scheduler. Daytime open play sessions are regularly posted on the platform, making it simple for players to discover games, register, and connect with others in the area.

Beyond daily play, Smithfield hosts monthly events, holiday socials, fundraising tournaments, corporate team-building outings, and school programs, further strengthening its role as a hub for the Cedar Rapids pickleball community.

With year-round court access, a large pro shop featuring a 75+ paddle demo program, and a strong commitment to growing the sport, Smithfield Tennis and Pickleball Center continues to be a cornerstone of racquet sports in Cedar Rapids.
