PTS From the Help Desk:
The Mystery of the Missing Session

We often receive support requests involving sessions that appear to be missing. In some cases, your friend or spouse may have access to the session, but you don’t. There are several reasons this happens. Here’s what to do:

First, check your account settings. Click the “Account” button and check for the following conflicts:

  • The session is for a gender you’ve chosen to hide (Calendar tab)
  • The session has been canceled and you’ve chosen to hide these (Calendar tab)
  • The session is an “All level” (2.0–5.0) session and you’ve chosen to hide these (Calendar tab)
  • The location for the session is turned off (Locations tab)

Next, consider that the session creator may have applied restrictions. If you do not meet the criteria, the session will not be visible. Common restrictions include:

  • The session is invite-only and you were not invited (see note below)
  • Your skill level does not match the session requirements
  • The session has not yet been released for registration and is hidden until then
  • You have been individually blocked by the creator

For invite-only sessions, one common issue is duplicate accounts. If you have more than one PTS account under different email addresses, the organizer may have invited one account while you are logged into another. The system cannot tell that you are the same person. Either log into the invited account or ask the organizer to invite you again using the correct email address.

Note: To eliminate future issues, it’s best to delete one of the two accounts by logging into it and clicking Account > Delete Account. You can update the email address on the remaining account if desired, once the duplicate has been deleted.
