PTS Tips & Tricks: More Than Just Open Play

When you’re creating a session on PlayTime Scheduler, the Format section is worth a second look — and it's one of the perks you unlock as a Premium or Power User. It’s a simple step, but it helps set expectations and makes sessions run smoother for everyone.

In addition to open play, you can post sessions for:

  • Doubles
  • Singles
  • Drills
  • Clinic/Lesson

Maybe you’re organizing a focused drill session, setting up singles play, or hosting a clinic or lesson — choosing the right format lets players know exactly what they’re signing up for before they join. That clarity usually means better turnout, fewer questions, and a better experience on the courts.

👀 Coming soon: Comprehensive Round Robin feature! You asked, we listened — and we can’t wait to launch it. We’ll be rolling out a variety of round robin formats, all generated directly from your PTS signups. Some advanced formats will only be available for Power User organizers, but all players (including Free Users) will be able to participate and record match scores right from their phone. Prefer to keep score on paper or your laptop? Printable and desktop versions will be available as well. Stay tuned for more details!
