PlayTime Scheduler organizes places to play by three levels: Regions, Areas, and Locations. Understanding this structure will make reading and customizing the calendar much easier:
 

Regions
Think of a Region as the big picture. Depending on the density of players and courts in your part of the world, it could be a county, metro area, group of towns, or single city—basically wherever a community of players overlaps. The first person to register a Region defines it (and becomes the default admin, unless they hand it off later). Regions may shift over time as more players and places are added.
 

Areas
Within each Region are 1-10 color-coded Areas. These are defined by the regional admins. An Area might be a neighborhood, town, or cluster of towns. Each Area is assigned a unique color. If a Region has fewer than 10 locations, each location might get its own Area/color. If there are more than 10 locations, then they will need to be grouped.
 

Locations
A location is any venue with one or more pickleball courts. Each Region can have an unlimited number of locations. Sometimes a location might be shared between two Regions. When that happens, the sessions show up on both calendars.
 

Q: What do the colors of the bubbles mean?
The color indicates which Area that location belongs to. If two sessions are the same color, they’re geographically close to each other. Use the Map/Key button to see the color guide for your Region.
 

Q: How can I change the color of a location?
Only your local admins can change the default colors. If something looks incorrect, use the Contact Us form to let us know. If you are a Premium or Power User, you can customize the colors on your own calendar. Go to Account > Locations to set up your custom color preferences.
 

Q: Can you add more colors?
Ten is the limit for now. If you are having trouble telling locations apart, you can either use custom colors (as described above) or switch to List View, which displays the location names prior to clicking. On a desktop computer, you can also roll your mouse over each bubble to see its location. If you're a Premium User and you usually play at 10 or fewer locations, we suggest turning off the ones you don’t use and assigning each of your regular spots its own color.
