PlayTime Scheduler is thrilled to partner with UTR Sports to help users engage with the UTR Pickleball Rating (UTR-P Rating), the official rating system of USA Pickleball and the APP Tour. PlayTime Scheduler users can now connect their accounts to UTR Sports so their dynamically updated UTR-P Rating syncs to their profiles. Players will also utilize the UTR-P Rating during play session creation and sign-ups. When organizing games through PlayTime Scheduler, players will seamlessly benefit from level-based play backed by the UTR-P Rating system.

Equipped with over a decade of expertise as the creator of the gold-standard UTR Rating for tennis, the UTR-P Rating is designed to rate every level of player, including both provisional and numerical ratings for singles and doubles players. Players without match results logged will receive a provisional rating (P1-P5) based on a questionnaire. After a few matches, the rating automatically converts to a reliable decimal rating on a scale of 1.0-10.0 (from beginner to expert/pro).

To get started using your UTR-P Rating with PlayTime Scheduler, first visit My Account and click the "Connect with UTR Sports" button. Log in to your UTR Sports account, and click the button to authorize PlayTime Scheduler to access your ratings.

Under the Add Session screen, you will notice there are now two options for defining your session’s skill level range – Self-Ratings and UTR-P. When you choose to create a UTR-P based session, players must have a matching decimal rating in order to join your session. You can also choose whether to restrict to only verified UTR-P Ratings (those calculated based on organized/sanctioned play) vs. unverified ratings (which also include casual play and pick-up games).

On the main calendar page, UTR-P sessions will be labeled as such on the bubble. Your calendar filters and notification preferences will adjust based on the rating system used for each session.
