PlayTime Scheduler Tips & Tricks:
All About Wait Lists!

Special events like clinics or round robins often require a specific number of players. Power Users can set minimum and maximum player limits and create automated wait lists to ensure a perfect number of players every time.

When a session reaches its maximum, additional players are placed on the wait list and alerted. If someone drops out, the list automatically re-shuffles, bumping the first waitlisted player to the play list and sending them an instant email notification – "Congrats, you’re in!" Session creators can opt to receive notifications of these changes under My Account > Emails.

In the case of "equal mix" gender sessions (MXD play), the system automatically selects the next waitlisted player of the same gender to fill the spot. Guests cannot join wait lists – if a player tries to add a guest to a full session, the system will block it to prevent unfairly bumping others.

Automated wait lists are a huge time saver when planning an event, and allow for instant notification of playlist changes, giving organizers piece of mind that their event will have the right number of players, even if there are last minute dropouts.
