If you're lucky enough to live in a region that is very actively using PlayTime Scheduler, you might be receiving more emails than you would like. Fortunately, we've built in features to help you customize your notifications. (Trust us, we don't want to send you excess emails any more than you want to receive them!) If you haven't visited your account settings in a while, it might be time for a review. Here are some suggested steps:

1. Check your gender and skill level
   My Account > My Profile
   By default, the system will only notify you of sessions inclusive of your skill level and gender. Make sure these are both set correctly. The gender field was introduced in late 2020, so if you registered before then, yours may still be set to “unknown."
    
2. Disable, or fine-tune, public session notifications
   My Account > Notifications
   You can unsubscribe completely, or, tell us which types of sessions you are interested in hearing about. For each day of the week, select the timeframes you are available to play. You can also specify a mileage radius from your home zip code, eliminating sessions you feel are too far away.
    
3. Set you minimum session level
   My Account > Notifications
   Let's say you are a 4.0 player and you don't wish to receive emails about public sessions that include players rated 3.0 or below (e.g. 3.0-4.5). Set your minimum session level to 3.5, and you won't receive notifications about 3.0+ sessions anymore. A session must be rated 3.5+ to reach your inbox (e.g. 3.5-4.5).
    
4. Specify what other types of notifications you'd like to receive
   My Account > Notifications
   You can choose whether to be notified when a session reaches the minimum number of players, when someone adds a note, or sends a group email. You can also turn off notifications for private session invitations (but we doubt you would want to!)
    
5. Turn individual court locations on/off (Premium Feature)
   My Account > Locations
   If you are a Premium/Power User, you can turn individual locations/venues off via the Locations tab. This hides them from the calendar as well as disables email notifications for sessions at these venues. Click here if you haven't yet upgraded to PlayTime Premium.
