How long have you been playing pickleball and where did you learn to play?

I’ve been playing pickleball for six years now. My first ever playing experience was at Rusch Park and my first instruction was with the awesome Doug Koch!

What do you think contributed most to the incredible growth of pickleball at Johnson Ranch?
A team of dedicated people who care passionately about our members, our community, and beyond. A company who supports inclusivity and innovative ideas.  A community of players who are welcoming, kind, and FUN.  Last but not least, the incredible features and community that PlayTime Scheduler offers us.

How would you describe the pickleball culture at your club?
All ages and all backgrounds that come together with the common bond we share through pickleball. We love to celebrate life at Johnson Ranch and we always find a reason to throw a good party! It truly is a community like no other.

What is your favorite thing about your job?
The front row seat to witness relationships form, smiles to emerge, and personal growth to take place. I see this on a daily. What a blessing.

What advice would you give to a new club considering using PlayTime Scheduler?

PlayTime Scheduler has been instrumental in our growth and how we connect with not only our own members but the entire pickleball community in our region. This is critical in our mission to grow the sport and nurture our community of members, future members, and guests.  I couldn’t recommend it more - PTS is truly the BEST!
