In 2020, Jacksonville restaurateur (and PlayTime Scheduler Power User) Andy Zarka got the wild idea to convert his European Street Sweets candy store to a dedicated pickleball store. As much as he loved candy, Andy had acquired an even stronger addiction to pickleball, and was frustrated by the lack of equipment in traditional sporting good stores. He liquidated his candy inventory and filled the shelves with paddles, balls, nets, shoes, clothing, bags, and every other accessory imaginable.
